Why Do I Have Pain?
One of the most common questions I am asked is, "Why do I have pain?"
My answer, "Your body is telling you something. It could be a pinched nerve, bone
out of place, sprained ligaments, strained muscles or all of the above."
Pain can prevent you from doing ordinary tasks such as turning your head in your
car to look behind you, picking up your children, playing with your children, exercising,
working, sleeping, laundry, standing, sitting, putting on your shoes.........the
list can go on and on.
A common "solution" for many people is some form of painkiller. It does help the
pain but the pain keeps coming back over and over again. It never addresses the
true cause of the pain.
When you experience pain, whether slight or unbearable, your body is crying out,
"HELP ME!" You do not have to live the rest of your life with the pain if you take
care of the true cause.
Why Do I Feel Tired?
Feeling tired is no fun. People are sick and tired of being sick and tired! Fatigue
is so common with people it has become an accepted way of life! Absolutely not!
If you're feeling tired it is your body telling you that you have either a nutritional
deficiency, toxicity, or both.
"I could just crash around 2PM or 3PM."
"I am a slow starter in the morning."
"After I eat lunch or dinner I have to force myself to stay awake."
"I've tried so many different vitamins and nothing seems to work."
It really is all about removing toxins from the body, finding food allergies, and
replenishing the body with the right nutrients. Clinical Nutrition is essential.
Why Can't I Lose Weight?
"No matter how hard I try I just can't seem to lose those extra few pounds!"
"I'm exercising and eating right but seem to be stuck at this weight."
"I can't get rid of this extra weight around my stomach."
"What foods should I avoid?"
These are very common questions I am asked about weight loss. It is important to
look at all aspects of what is needed to lose weight. Exercise, calories, sleep,
healthy food, foods to avoid, adrenal support and toxicity. The last two are unknown
to most people and are essentials to help achieving your goals. Your adrenals and
thyroid are part of your endocrine system which helps regulate metabolism. They
can become worn down with age and nutritional deficiencies. Also did you know fat
cells are storage areas for toxins? Did you know certain foods can be preventing
you from losing weight? Also, your body will not burn fat cells with toxins in it.
It is a safety mechanism of the body!
Strengthening the function of the organs for metabolism and elimination of toxins
is essential.

Testimonials |
"After two years of failed physical therapy, swim therapy, pain medications, biofeedback
and series of steroid injections for 2 bulging discs in my low back, my pain doctor
suggested I have my nerves burned off so that I may have a normal active lifestyle
without pain. Just when I decided I would rather live with chronic pain the rest
of my life, I met Dr. Hengesteg. He educated me about Chiropractic to put my ignorant
fears at ease and started me on a therapy program. Now I am completely pain-free.
To think I was about to have my nerves burned off! I wish I had consulted him as
a first resort."
